Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played basketball in college for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings drafted her with five selections in the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. As the youngest, her parents gave her the very best treatment. Gregory, her father, was in her father's army, the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale was raised in a bustling family. Her skills helped her win some stunning victories at her school. With 73 high-school starts throughout her playing career, she has 1,477 points with 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA for U18 where she won Gold Medals. In July of 2014 she was picked to join the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after hitting several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, a basketball player in her early teens, is a player that has proved to be an outstanding star.
