Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English music producer and a singer. Jessie was first noticed for her unique style of music that blends soul and hip-hop, pop and electropop. Alongside her numerous accolades, she was nominated for the "Critics Choice Brit Award" as well as the BBC's Sound of 2011". Her career started when she was 11 years old when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the show Whistle Down the Wind. She then joined the National Youth Music Theater and was part of their 2002 production"The Late Sleepers". 2011 was the year she became famous when she released her first studio album "Who You Are'. The album was a huge success from the beginning. Within the first week it sold 105,000 copies in the UK and 34,000 in the US. The album also ranked at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart' and at number 11 on the US Billboard 200.' Jessie is also well-known for her charitable work and involvement in charities such as Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
